Sarah is wearing an eyelet dress with elbow length sleeves. The dress is made of eyelet yardage and takes advantage of the different embroidered patterns on the fabric. The sleeves were cut from the scalloped edging while the skirt is from the field. The skirt also has ribbon trim down the front and around the hem. It is finished with a bow at the empire line.

Sarah’s pantaloons have 2 rows of tucking and lace at the hem. The pantaloon has an elastic waistband. Her stockings are of cotton jersey with machine embroidery up the sides and around the top hem.
